On July 15, Thailand introduced a new, pretty cool type of visa — the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), which is called the Digital Nomad Visa. It is good because many re-locatees sitting on boarder-runs finally have the opportunity to officially mark their status, without having to travel every month or two to the border. Who is suitable for this visa? For example, working remotely on contracts, and such people after the pandemic settled in Thailand not a few. Or bloggers with a solid number of subscribers, for whom YouTube, Tiktok or Instagram are also essentially work.
By introducing a new visa Thailand makes it clear that it is happy to see people who earn income outside the country, who will be happy to live and spend in the land of smiles.
At first glance, the requirements for DTV applicants are quite simple, but do not forget about the Thai love to change on the fly and make up the rules as you go along. Therefore, those who really fit the criteria for this type of visa can be advised to gather the documents quickly, in case the rules and requirements become more complicated.
Of course and now you need to responsibly approach the preparation of your case, but agree that the fuss with all the paperwork is nothing compared to the opportunity to be in Thailand not on a bird’s license, and proudly declaring that you are, for example, a remote worker or youtuber.
In fact, a multi-visa for 5 years is just a dream for any remote worker. Yes, every 180 days you need to leave to activate the next 180. But if you think about it, just imagine that you will finally have the opportunity to see, for example, Angkor Wat, and not just go back and forth to Cambodia, in which, judging by the numerous green stickers many people seem to have been, but actually have not been. Of course no one knows how DTV officers will meet DTV-goers, but for the most worried there is always Fast Track service.
Anyone wishing to apply for this type of visa, we invite you to come with us to Visarun Plus in Laos. We are always very sensitive to each client and try to make 3 days and 2 nights in Laos you consider a mini-vacation. In addition, our escorts always review the documents before submitting for a visa, in order to correct any deficiencies in time. Of course, the final visa decision is left solely to the discretion of the Thai embassy. But if your case is genuine and you prepare everything that is required, you will easily pass the interview to which you may be called.
Applications for visarun to Laos for DTV visa are waiting on watsap. We will be glad to see you in our groups.
