As of January 1, 2025, Thailand has completely switched to an online visa issuance system. The main difference is that now you do not have to stand in lines to apply at the embassy, and that the visa will not be pasted into your passport — it will be sent to your e-mail.
The most important rule is that you cannot apply for a visa online while in Thailand. You must apply in the country you are physically in.
DTV visas are literally a visa gift from the Thai government for foreigners. It has never been this easy to get a 5-year visa before. Around 35,000 people have already received a DTV visa!
For a whole year, we’ve been organizing group trips to Laos for DTV visa runs every Monday. Our clients were the first to get this visa in Laos and continue receiving it every week.
DTV is a multi-entry visa which is issued for 5 years and the number of entries is unlimited. Each entry activates a new 180 days. Spouses and children under 20 years old can get a visa on the basis of a family member of the DTV holder. Everyone can apply at the same time. Visa fee must be paid by each applicant regardless of age.
Departure is from Pattaya. If you are in other regions of Thailand (Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Hua Hin, etc.), you can join the group at Suvarnabhumi airport. Domestic flight within Thailand from Bangkok to Udon Thani. Border crossing in Nongkhai, same day visa application in Vientiane.
DTV Visa Trip Procedure to Laos:
Flights depart every Monday. The first trip lasts 2 days and 1 night. You’ll take a domestic flight within Thailand from Bangkok to Udon Thani, then cross the border at Nong Khai and apply for the visa the same day in Vientiane. The next day, we bring you back to Thailand via the land border, and you are guaranteed to receive a new 60-day entry stamp.
After that, you’ll receive an invitation by email from the Thai Embassy for an interview with the consul. The second trip to Laos will take place on the interview date specified in the email—usually about two weeks after your visa application. You do not need to wait in Laos; we will take you back there on the day of the interview. Our team will fully prepare you for the interview in advance.
Every DTV applicant in Laos must attend this interview. It’s a very convenient and reliable way to get the visa, as you can personally explain your job, show proof of funds in your account, and demonstrate that you meet all the requirements. Other embassies do not offer this option, so there is always a risk of rejection—even if you have a real job and sufficient funds—which can be quite frustrating.
That’s why we highly recommend using our reliable service and joining our DTV visa run to Laos.
The price for those who need a visa to enter Laos (US, UK, Europe), the price is 22,000 THB; children – 20,000 THB. A Lao visa is issued at the border, and our staff will assist with the process.

Additional costs:
Round-trip flights from Bangkok to Udon Thani (or directly to Laos) for both the application trip and the interview trip.
A consular visa fee of 10,000 THB per applicant, payable in cash at the Thai Embassy on the day of visa submission. This fee applies to every DTV applicant regardless of age.
What’s included in the package:
Individual consultation and pre-check of your DTV application documents, all transfers along the route, Friendship Bridge crossing and Lao entry fee, Guaranteed 60-day entry stamp after submitting the DTV application, breakfast on the first trip and lunch on the second, night in a hotel, airport pickup on the day of your interview, interview preparation by accompanying assistant guide.
Each DTV applicant has a unique case, so the document package may vary. We will provide tailored recommendations for your specific situation and help you prepare a strong application. All documents must be submitted in English and sent to us for pre-check before the trip.
For remote workers, required documents include:
A work contract with a clause stating remote employment,
Employer certificate,
A letter explaining why you need the DTV visa,
Proof of income/payments,
Company registration documents (such as business license, registration number, etc.),
A bank certificate confirming a minimum balance of 500,000 THB,
A bank statement showing three months of transaction history.
Once your trip is booked, you’ll receive a short checklist and tips to help you prepare these documents.
Note: All DTV visa applicants must pay the consular fee of 10,000 THB in cash directly at the embassy.
If you’re not officially employed or working remotely, you can still get a DTV visa through an official government program by enrolling in Thai language or Thai cooking courses. Contact us and we’ll help you find an accredited school near your residence and prepare the necessary documents.
The second core requirement for the visa is a personal bank account with a balance of 500,000 THB (or equivalent approx. 1.4 million RUB or $15,000 USD). This amount must have been held for at least 3 months without dropping below the threshold. A banking app screenshot must be presented during the consular interview.
If the funds haven’t been in your account for three full months yet, contact us and we’ll help schedule your trip for a date that meets all requirements.

In case of delays, cancellations, rescheduling, denied boarding, or other force majeure events, any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the traveler.
We are not liable if the embassy requests additional documents, changes or cancels the visa process, or alters the requirements. We act solely as organizers of the group trip and do not bear responsibility if, for any reason, the embassy rejects your application, delays visa issuance, issues a different type of visa at the discretion of the consul, or refuses to accept your application for a new passport.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and contain at least 2 blank pages. Crossing the border with your old passport and obtaining the visa in a new one is only possible with prior agreement.
If you currently hold a NON visa, we strongly recommend closing it with Thai Immigration before the trip.
